Philanthropy Activities
Our chapter hosts multiple philanthropy events to keep our community supportive and connected. Events such as volleyball tournaments, Trivia for Change, and tie-dye fundraisers all support Blood Cancer United.
Friends and Family Weekend
Every Spring Semester!!
The sisters of Beta Iota always welcome friends and family to the central coast one weekend a year! Groups spent their free time kayaking, riding ATVs, BBQ-ing, and more. We have many fun events where we get to introduce our guests to all AOE has to offer!
Alumni Weekend
Fall 2026
Our professional committee works hard to host Alumni Weekend and reconnect with sisters working in their professional fields every year! We kick it off with an alumni panel and dinner followed by a few fun activities. We love making a lot of new connections and even more memories!
Disneyland Getaway
Every Winter!
To cultivate our sisterhood the sisters head down to Anaheim for some bonding time. We always have a blast going on rides, eating delicious food, and immersing ourselves in the magic of the happiest place on Earth. Its an amazing experience filled with laughter and appreciation!
Girl Scout Day
Every Fall!
Several of our sisters hang out with Girl Scouts in the central coast region to promote engineering. Participants learn to build a bridge and put different loads on to test its strength as well as create simple light circuts. The girls, sisters and scouts alike, had a great time!
